2015 People's Choice Winners - Best in Show!!

Two creative artisants take on historic home and win Best in Show – The People’s Choice Award at the Lewiston Historical Association’s Annual Tour of Homes, December 5 and 6.

Over 1,200 attended the 11th Annual Tour of Homes. This event is a major fundraiser for the organization.  Five homes were on the tour and 14 decorators and tablescape artists were featured.  Each ticketholder was invited to vote for their favorite décor and holiday theme.

According to Event Coordinator, Melisas Morinello, “The House that Hotchkiss Built" on Plain Street was the perfect pallet for friends and artisans, Kyle Lynn Tuttle and Brook D'Angelo.  Kyle Lynn and Brook created a well thought out and detailed decorating scheme for the home that fit its historic significance.  They used and re-purposed many of Kyle Lynn's family heirlooms and supplemented with several handmade items, including original artwork painted specific for this home and event.  The ladies partnered with Piccirillo's Florist of Niagara Falls to complete their perfect "rustic Christmas" look.  Although all designers received rave reviews, the design and holiday décor at the "House that Hotchkiss Built" took the grand prize.    Be sure to view our gallery from the other homes and past Tour of Homes!
